Lone Survivor contains heavy references and inspiration from David Lynch's filmography (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive), Team Silent's video game Silent Hill series, Hidetaka "SWERY" Suehiro's Deadly Premonition and various psychological horror movies.
