Benzido is a minor character briefly met in Chie's apartment. Along with Kenny, he is present at a get-together, apparently organized by Chie, inside the oddly well-kept home.

A survivor who attends a party in Chie's apartment. He is an acquaintance to "You". He shuffles along with the music and holds a cocktail.

Benzido offers little input and is generally dismissive towards "You", shrugging off his worries and teasing him about how he seems too young to be taken serious. When talked to, he, like his friend Kenny, appears oblivious to the monsters lurking around the apartments. He does not, however, admit nor deny the reality, that there are in fact monsters, simply assuring "You" that he and the other guests are safe, also urging "You" to relax and enjoy the party,

After "You" gets the pistol, Benzido and Kenny disappear, with two Thinmen and two mangled corpses resting in armchairs in their place.

His casual attitude and cluelessness about any danger call into question whether he and the rest of the guests are simply part of a hallucination experienced by "You" or just carelessly accepting their doomed fate.

Along with Kenny, he is prone to belittling "You" for disrupting the party and chaffs him over his height, calling him "little man" when "You" becomes pushy. Also of note is that both refer to "You" as "brother" or "little brother" at certain times, though these could just as easily be general terms of address.

In the Director's Cut, on a New Game+, "You" may try to give Sleepy Cat to Benzido, who will politely decline and instead hand "You" three Lettuce Leaves, stating that he thinks "You" might find at least one of them useful in the future.

In the Yellow Ending, Benzido and the rest of the partygoers warmly receive "You" after he decides to stay with them and dance the night away together.

Benzido means "sanctified" or "blessed" in Portugese.
